The South Downs: Villages and Countryside
The South Downs: Villages and Countryside (1/2 day or full day)
Rolling countryside, unspoilt landscapes and far reaching views are hall marks of The South Downs. Nestled within this landscape are traditional villages and small market towns that are little changed at their core. The South Downs National Park stretches for 100 miles between Winchester and Eastbourne and this trip explores some of the lessor known and beautiful countryside in the Hampshire and West Sussex end of the Downs. This tour gives you an insight into the landscape and character of The South Downs and of the villages and towns within. This relatively unknown National Park has many beautiful vistas and unsurpassable countryside and gives an indication of life in a by-gone age. There are options to stop at various places depending on your interests.
All tour itineraries can be adjusted to suit your requirements.
